You will be on the front lines, using our proprietary technology to capture the real, fleeting, and nuanced facial expressions that power the future of human-machine interaction.
Your Role
As a remote Data Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for executing structured video recording sessions with consented participants. You will be trained and provided with our specialized hardware/software kit to ensure the capture of high-fidelity, research-grade facial video data according to our strict scientific and ethical protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Remote Sessions: Conduct one-on-one video recording sessions via approved platforms with pre-vetted and consented participants, following detailed scenario prompts to elicit natural emotional responses and micro-expressions.
- Operate Specialized Tech: Set up, calibrate, and operate provided proprietary software and, in some cases, specialized hardware (e.g., high-resolution webcams, lighting rigs) to ensure video meets our technical specifications (resolution, frame rate, lighting, stability).
- Ensure Data Fidelity & Ethics: Meticulously adhere to all data collection protocols. Your primary duty is to guarantee that every video is captured ethically (with clear, ongoing participant consent), is of the highest usable quality, and is properly labeled and logged.
- Manage & Transmit Data: Securely upload, organize, and transmit captured data to our encrypted servers, maintaining impeccable records for each session.
- Provide Feedback: Act as our eyes and ears in the field, providing clear feedback on software usability, session protocols, and participant interactions to help us improve the process.
Who You Are (Ideal Profile)
- A Technical Executor: You are comfortable with technology, can follow complex software/hardware setup guides meticulously, and troubleshoot basic issues independently. Experience with video/audio recording is a significant plus.
- An Ethical Steward: You have a deep respect for participant privacy and data ethics. You understand the importance of informed consent and can conduct sessions with professionalism, empathy, and clarity.
- A Detail-Oriented Professional: You possess exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow rigorous protocols without deviation.
- A Clear Communicator: You have strong interpersonal and communication skills (in your local language; English is a major plus) to guide participants through scenarios naturally and professionally.
- A Reliable Contractor: You are self-motivated, reliable, and can manage your own schedule to meet project deadlines. You have a stable, high-speed internet connection and a quiet, private space to conduct sessions.
